To run Flex 2, you will need CF 7.0.2 and Flash Player 9. To modify and deploy Flex code, you will need an editor and the Flex SDK or a copy of Flex Builder.
You don't install Flex. It is natively support in the CF application server. You create a compiled SWF file and then deploy it to your CF server like copying a text file or cfm template. You just copy the .swf file over and the code template that calls the SWF.
