Dave, thanks for this idea.

I have already a part about IDE platforms on my presentation. I will 
cover specially Homesite/CFEclipse and Unicode problems and Eclipse. But 
in general BOM usage is still a discussion at our community. I am a fan 
of using BOM on every file and then CF can understand encoding 
automatically but in some cases this was a discussion about having a IDE 
which is BOM compatible or not.

We have discusses these issues also with Paul Hasting and Ray Camden. I 
have suggested to convert some BlogCFC pages having BOM to have "easy" 
Unicode support but the point was about developers who may not have any 
knowledge about this and save in a different format etc.

In general you can not create a Unicode with BOM support in Eclipse but 
you can open and save without any problem any file which has already 
BOM. Eclipse does not care about it.
