Even with sudo, you have to type sudo every time you run something that requires admin access. As Windows is a graphical interface rather than a command line interface...it is "typed" for you. If you look at the dropdown menu, you can set programs to run as administrator. If it is an app that you run regularly, this will set the app to run as administrator every time, so you won't have to do that every time. I have a couple of apps that will run into errors unless that is set. Yes...it is a bit of a PIA...but people bitched and moaned about Windows security and they got what they asked for.
