Well... Big question.

The coolest change since the 4.x days is the introduction of the
Developer Edition of CF. You can now download the trial edition from
the Adobe site and install it on your personal workstation at home and
the license never expires. So you can play with it all you want this
weekend.

Now, the biggest downside to coming from CF 4.x is that it's now built
on Java and has an object oriented flavor to it. The use of CFCs and
Java is a common expectation among people hiring right now. I know I
expect to see it from anyone I hire. Since you have just a few days, I
go hit whatever local bookstore you've got that might carry Macromedia
books and pick up the CF7 WACK (Web Application Construction Kit) Hit
as many chapters as you can over the weekend, focus on chapters about
features you don't know. CFCs, using Java, new features in cfquery,
Application.cfc.
