Well, strictly speaking, that's not DOS, it's a Windows console. But yes,
you could do that. I usually do that on my development machines.

It's all up to the web server configuration. You can configure individual
virtual web servers to send requests to different versions of CF.
Personally, though, I'd probably just use the JRun web server for one (or
both) rather than worrying about configuring web servers on a development
laptop. Unless you're doing something specific that requires IIS or Apache,
anyway. On my primary laptop, I have IIS 7, but I don't use it with CF, just
for ASP.NET development. For CF, I just use the JRun web server.
