add a cfsetting tag that increases the timeout, while not directly fixing the problem, it should do the trick.
BTW, I have had very few problems with this at CrystalTech in the several years I have been there. Then again, I usually try to steer away from long-running cfoutput loops or cfdumps in my live application. Are you SURE that your application is being as efficient as it could be? Not looping over some gigantic query or cfdump'ing a huge struct or anything like that?
