Well, I did talk to CrystalTech. And it's almost certain that they will not downgrade to JVM 1.6.
Which is probably understandable, given the fact that it would be of direct benefit to a small percentage of their CF customers. For my part, I've already removed a couple of clients from them, so I can better deal with the bug. But the support guy - Tim Hildebrand - was actually very good about pursuing the issue. And they did discuss the matter with Adobe. I have to at least give them credit for that. -- Thanks, Tom Tom McNeer MediumCool http://www.mediumcool.com 1735 Johnson Road NE Atlanta, GA 30306 404.589.0560 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:296300 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
