You're not going to like what I have to say, but I feel that I should say it
anyway.
Interface design isn't something you can buy as a package, then plug into
your application. Interface design is integral to how your application
works. You can't separate interface from programmatic implementation very
easy; interface design has to be tightly integrated into the functional
design of the application. Typically, programmers are lousy interface
designers, as well.
Building successful web applications simply can't be done in "lone-wolf"
mode, unless you're truly a Renaissance man of many talents - in which case
you won't have much time to do programming anyway.
