What?!? And Mary Jo likes their customer service? That seals the deal! I'd say it takes CF to the next level, and all us CF devs with 'it.
If we play our cards right, this can be very lucrative for everyone. Commercial/product based, and open source/service based. It'll hook some new blood, and, well, you know... mindshare is important. This is a smart move that keeps CF fresh and whatnot... which is really good for anyone involved in CF in any respect. JBoss had been impressing the heck out of me, anyways. And they're working on stuff that will deploy "anywhere", as well, which just-- well, all these paths are converging, and it's quite pleasant to see ColdFusion getting in there. Maybe I won't have to push my other skills as much in the future. LOL. Makes what I've already invested in worth more, and who doesn't like being worth more? Heh. I'm genuinely excited to see where this leads, and the possibilities it, um, makes possible. -- don't let money change ya / la dee da dee da da On Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 1:17 PM, Mary Jo Sminkey wrote: >>Hot freaking damn!
