LOL, nice to know my recommendation means so much! ;-) > It'll hook some new blood, and, well, you know... mindshare is > important. If you've read some of my posts in the past, you'll know I think it is crucially important as well. > I'm genuinely excited to see where this leads, and the possibilities > it, um, makes possible. Yup, I'm excited too. I loved Railo the first time I read about it, and the more i looked into it and used it, the more impressed I was. I'm really glad now that I put in the work to make sure my product ran on it, and I recently felt confident enough to put a customer on their own VPS running Railo (on top of Resin). Working more with it also has allowed me to give feedback on things that could be tweaked to make it easier for other CF applications to run on it with minimal compatibility issues, and I look forward to having more people trying it out as that just means they'll be able to really make it a good, solid, well-tested product. I was really impressed by how quick they would get out an update that fixed a compatibility problem versus having to wait for the next major release months or years down the road. They really seem to be committed to making it easy to use, lightning fast, and with some really great features that the other engines don't offer. Maybe it's because I am a small-time, independent developer myself that I love someone that goes out and takes on the big boys...and produces something really great. --- Mary Jo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:307016 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
