I am not sure if this should be posted to this list or cf-community. I checked there and I expected off-topic CF questions (non-scripting), but it seems to be completely off of CF, so I'm here.
I have a client (first side project for me) and I'm done his site. Now I need to transfer it to a hosting company. When I set up the service, I want it to be the client's service to manage and pay for as time goes on. So I want the billing to go to them, not through me. I consider installing the website a hand-over to them. I've not gone through the process yet, but do I ask the customer for their credit card (which I'd rather not do) or do I pay for it myself and get repaid, which would set the billing up to be my credit card. I also don't want to do that because then each year it would be billed to me. Or do most hosting companies have an option where I can set up the service and have the client billed? How do you generally do this if you're not the provider? thank you. daniel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:313458 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
