Jason, If you do *not* have a lot people to manage then I would say try Basecamp to manage your projects and use Paypal for your invoicing. Back in 2004 when I used to have my own business, I would use Basecamp for my project management and then I would invoice people through Paypal. Paypal has a pre built template for invoicing and it e-mails it to the person. If you do have a lot of people to manage then you might be looking at something more complete. This kind of system is not hard to develop. If you wish to develop something like this let me know.
