No it's not normal. Any posts i make usually appear in my gmail account several hours after sending them. If i create a new thread, I can frequently see the new thread on the houseoffusion.com site about 6 hours before it appears in my gmail account.
At other times, i sometimes see a reply post before i see my own post.
