Here's a couple more "guesses"...
a) all servers are setup to use the same network library to access
your DB server? (ie: TCP/IP or Named Pipes)
b) all servers are using the same DNS servers and are on the same IP
block?
c) all servers are behind the same firewall?
d) cf is starting under identical accounts on all machines?
....?
