No, you don't need Interdev for ASP development. From what I understand, Homesite is actually the preferred development environment for the majority of ASP coders. All Visual Interdev really gives you, in my opinion, is ASP-specific help and design-time ActiveX controls (which are basically just code-generation wizards).
