I recently had an apparent problem with cookies that set and work fine in IE
5.5 and earlier but caused an issue in 6.0, they were not getting set. So I
looked at what I think was the default "Privacy" setting in IE 6.0 and it
looks like it gets set to "Medium" on install. Which has settings as
follows: -

"Blocks Third Party Cookies that do not have a compact privacy policy"

"Blocks Third Party Cookies that use personally identifiable information
without implicit consent"

"Restricts First Part Cookies that use personally identifiable information
without implicit consent"

Once I reset these settings in the browser to "accept all cookies" the
problem went away and cookies are now set OK.

It looks to me like the third setting in the Medium Group is the problem
"Restricts" - whatever that may mean. Anyone else faced this issue yet?
