That would be very curious if that worked.  As I recall, the client variable
database doesn't have a field for recording the ipaddress.  I'd suspect that
cookies are not being set properly, or that they don't match the token being
passed around in the url/forms.

I forget, are you running clustered / balanced db servers, or cf servers?  I
know this is a dumb question, but your not trying to balance client
variables across datasources, right?  Multiple cf servers pointing at a
single client variable storage works, but I have no idea how one could
possibly use multiple db servers for client variables.  Again, probably a
really dumb question.
