When CF queries a database, does it hold open a thread for the whole life of the query till the answer set is returned?
For example, if I have 'Limit simultaneous requests' in the CF Administrator set to 5, and my database queries take 20 seconds to execute and return results, does this mean that 1 of my 5 threads will be busy with this query and unavailable for the whole 20 seconds? And if I have 5 concurrent queries, each running for 20 seconds, that all 5 threads will be busy and unavailable and requests coming in will go into the queue until the first query returns? Thanks!
