Thanks for your response. You answered my question. Now, maybe you help me to better understand what constitutes a CF request. I assume a call to a stored procedure is a request. Is it just one request that stays open for the length of time it takes for the database to return the answer set? Or is it a request when it calls the stored procedure, then another request when the answer set comes back? Or do I have this all wrong? What kinds of things count as requests? Is a cfm template itself a request? If the template itself is a request and it contains other requests, does the template request stay open (claiming one of the requests set in the Administrator) till all the contained requests are finished? Is there a relationship between CF requests and CF threads? Thanks!
