be it robots or auto submission form software I am not sure but we are getting a large influx of junk and pretend emails from the site with fake email addresses from all of the forms on our website. The way we can depict that it is legit or not is it should come from a certain email address but it has all the form elements but it says it comes from a different email address. eg. the email address which the form sends it from is say [EMAIL PROTECTED] but the emails we receive are from [EMAIL PROTECTED] but with all the form elements?

mmm

I've never had any instance where robots are submitting forms.  As far as I know they only look at HREFs

Subject: [cfaussie] stop robot form submission

Hello everyone,

can I get some comments on how to stop robots auto-submitting forms on one of my clients websites. We only launched on monday and already have received a truckload of auto submissions..

Is it best to create a pop up box so they can fill the form out there? Or something else

Is there a particular techinique that you are using or have you built something from the ground up to defeat them once and for all!!

:)

Thanks
