you think microsoft is going to acquire adobe? it's not about licensing, why can't they say to people "we are working on ajax integration, this is what we are doing, this is how long we think it will take till launch, we are also working on this and bringing this to our customers, so stay with us as our customers and when this is launched you'll get it" now sure they will cancel certain idea's they have but nothing wrong with telling people a % of the probability of the features being released in the end.
