@Geoff, I agree that the release of info has been better than before, and in some respects this has been good as its kept me waiting and wanting for the new version.
I do wonder however if they had held everything in and did one big announcement if this would have greater impact. Not sure, but getting on the Beta wasn't too hard so I guess if you wanted to know you could just do that. I think everyone will be suitably impressed with the number and type of features included. Now I'm just waiting for a release date and pricing so that I can order my copy. I'm especially interested to see what Adobe do with Pricing, I've been impressed with recent Adobe product pricing.
