Personally I think no one can answer this, what should be done is some load testing and see what resources are actually used. 32 Gig of RAM is nice, but maybe he only needs 1Gig. I think RAID is overAIDED, I've not had one HD die on my yet in 15 years. Much better spending money elsewhere, like a cgheap back-up machine.
