Yes, there is a cap, but it's pretty high. I don't have the # in front of me, but for most users it will be more than fine. I'd say the majority of users. Not everyone. But the majority. I haven't had issues using verity from one server on another - but I haven't tried it yet. I assume by server you mean both on the same box, just different CF servers.
