Basic gist: I use it to save me buckets of time. I don't have to write my CRUD SQL (I don't know the last time I wrote an INSERT, or UPDATE statement), and also to gen' alot of the basic CFC code I need.. such as getter/setters and other basic parts. From there I can extend it to add whatever custom code I need.
...and a helleva lot of other reasons, but that's the basic piece. I started it because there was nothing like it in this space yet, and I wanted something that would do what Transfer does. ..and as Steve pointed out, I'm a big geek, and I love a challenge ;oD Mark On Mon, Jun 30, 2008 at 11:19 AM, Barry Beattie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Heh, well I use Transfer, but I'm, biased, no? ;o) > > Mark, still worthy of 2c worth of comment: > > Why did you develop Transfer in the first place? > > Those that use it (and you strike up a rapport with) - why do they use it? > > Those that did use Transfer but seldom do so now ... why did they change? > > > > -- E: [EMAIL PROTECTED] W: www.compoundtheory.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "cfaussie" group.
