OK, that's a good starting point. I don't recognize the issue immediately, but have you tried the update that Carl suggested?
Also, there is a preferences>general>workspace with a "refresh automatically". Is that checked for you? Don't know what it does, but worth considering. Perhaps others with more experience with your specific problem may pipe up.
