And to be clear, Stephen, when you do that upgrade, it's only 9.0.1 (CF 9 Updater 1) that formally supports IIS 7+. And when you get the installer for CF 9.0 today, you do NOT get 9.0.1. You need to install 9.0, then install the updater on top of that.
(And I would recommend you let the 9.0 install use the internal web server, and then do the 9.0.1 upgrade, and then run the web server config tool to connect CF to IIS.)
