It has been my experience that those finding it difficult to get developers, are themselves using older version of ColdFusion, mainly version 5. And that is a problem in itself... Not saying this is that case here, but something to consider.
And personally the money usually on offer for developing on these systems, is like a kick in the teeth for developers.
