Omer, some thoughts which may help you…

Do you mean perhaps, “Mach ii”? That was a popular CFML framework for several
years. I can appreciate that if you only heard its name spoken, you could think
it was spelled “MAK2”. Just offering that if it may help you find more info (or
people) to help with it.

Also, you say you want to “upgrade Cold Fusion and redevelop existing MAK2
framework code”. Do you mean you want to move the code away from that
framework? Or just that you want to modify it while continuing to use it?
Either would call for someone who does understand the framework, at least its
use.

I’ll assume that you do NOT mean (by “redevelop existing framework code”) that
you mean to modify the framework itself, right? That would take considerably
more advanced skills.

I will note that if you are moving from CF6 to CF11 (the latest supported
edition), that is quite a leap. You’ll also want someone with enough experience
to guide you through that transition, even if you just wanted to have the
current code run in the new environment, let alone make modifications to that
code.

Hope that’s helpful.

PS Someone may want to point out to you also that CF is spelled without a
space. That could also help you to know as you seek help, search for resources,
etc.

Subject: [cfaussie] Looking for Cold Fusion and MAK2 Framework Developer

Hi,

We have a internal company portal implemented using Cold Fusion 6.1.0.0 version
which is running off SQL 2000 with 2003 R2 OS. The code has been implemented
using MAK2 framework.

We are currently looking to upgrade Cold Fusion and redevelop existing MAK2
framework code to refine our internal portal, as we would like to make changes
to it.

We are located in Sydney CBD. If anyone can assist us with this then please
reply to this post.

Regards

Omer
