True,  Anyone i suppose can lie on a resume (hey i'm a software engineer)
but a recruiter should of done a more indepth background check on that
seeker.. ie Reference check of last two businesses worked etc

Ask questions like:
- What type of employee was he/she
- What was their main role with your company
- Do you consider him to have 2 years exp with languages XYZ etc

Instead they ask:
- Was he/she a nice person?
- Did the get fired?

Its one thing of a seeker lies on a resume, its easily caught out... but if
he has mates from his last job etc lying for him then its a gamble.
