I hope they do read it and develop a clue about handling us developers.

When you think about it, you could contribute the negative ripple effects
that a bad developer has on the industry.

Scenario
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Recruitment firm head hunts some clown who they have no idea has the
experience needed for the original position. All they care about was that
his flags in the recruitment database came up positive, hence put him/her in
the position.
The candidate is put forward to the employer, the employer generallly is
some head exect / IT manager who really has no idea what the hell
"Coldfusion" developer actually does, but have been given the task of hiring
a "web developer". He/She fires off stupid questions like "rate your skills
between 1 and 10, 10 being the highest.." to which the clown replies "8"..
(he's such a clown he doesn't even rate himself high)
The employer thinks "shit.. this guy sounds intelligent".. so he/she hires
him.
2 months later, the clown gets fired because he just hasn't a clue and they
later learn he's an ACCESS / ,NET programmer who has no idea really about
CF... but is willing to learn....
I blame firstly the Recruitment company THEN the employer as the job of the
recruitment company is to weed out and find the best that the market has to
offer at that exact moment sourcing candidates..
P.S
This actually happened.
