Didn't you have a daily posting limit? ;>

PDA stuff is easy as long as you define your display/application layer logic
and make sure that you have a browser detection/applicable display layer for
PDA's.

Just code for ultra low bandwith, try to avoid graphics where possible, and
set your size details to be relative wherever possible.

Generally a plain text tranlation in a relative sized table will allow for
PDA access. Its only really input that becomes grief from a pda... And input
from anything with a stylus is a pain in the <smurfycensor> anyway.

Admittedly... I'm responsible for a large number of Dilberesque interfaces,
people have been known to be clawing there eyes and screaming 3 days
afterwards... ButI think you can generall do something quite pretty with
tables and cell colors etc that looks passable enough for a medium thats
condemmed to uglyness by the $25/mb bandwith charges (Telstra are the evil
source of all things <smurfycensor> retentive and bull<smurfycensor> poorly
disguised extortion otherwise known as bandwith charges).

It'd also be nice if there was one or two objects we could call remotely to
pull up date/time/etc for the next CFUG's to slot into personal calendar
apps etc. I have a personal organiser/reminder app thats still a serious
work in progress that I can just feed data into a DB for.

Also be nice for the random UG's around the place to be able to just list
all there details in a central db and suck it back from a soap invokation or
something?

Maybe also an article contribution section. for those amongst us whoget the
urge to feed the intellectually hungry and share tips/tricks/material for
presenters at the UG's to steal. :)

*sigh* I'm so bored. My CFMX dev box is down and my new servers aren't up
yet.
