I find myself switching between the two, we havent found any issue with
stability of DW.

most of our layout work & basic cf is done in DW, with complex cf done in
studio (mainly because of the help files and we havent set our cf snippets
up in DW)

there are some annoying things with DW, like - only site based navigation
rather than an option for directory based, cold fusion help files are lousy
and finding your way around may be a bit frustrating at times -
but there are some real time savers as well.

unfortunatley you cant get one product to do everything
all in all DW is pretty cool for a lot of stuff.

| Hi Guys,
|
| I know this sounds silly. And I'm only sending this to please my manager.
| But I need opinons on the stability of DWMX vs. Studio. Now before I get
| laughed at please remember this is not ME asking this question....its my
| boss lady.
|
| She is worried that when we go down the DWMX that it will mess up the
| application that we coded in CFStudio 4.5.
| SO is there any evidence out there that would indicate DWMX messing up
| applications?
|
| IF we run Studio 4.5 and DWMX at the same time will the libaries run
| independantly?
|
| Thanks....
|
| Jeremy
| p.s. I did try to explain to her its a coding environment not a
development
| environment...ho hum...what do I know....
