Totally agree with you on the PostgreSQL front. 

Anytime I've ever looked at it, it seems to be the better option to mySQL...

I do a fair bit of PHP work as well - and all I ever see in mySQL... its quite 
frustrating really.

I suppose REALLY what I should be doing is saying 'damn its about time' rather 
than 'yay, thats really cool'
