Well really what I am looking into is creating a chat client in Flash, I'm
not that fund of working with these chat programs written with JS/CF that
requires refreshing the page to see the newly added content.

Oooh and did I mention it needs to be free ;-))

But looking at what moock has to offer, does that mean you can send data to
flash clients without Flash Com server? Or has he written his own
implementation of the flash comm server?

Another question about the flash comm server, I believe it operates on
another port than port 80, does that not mean that if someone is behind a
firewall it will not operate?
