What version of Flash?
FMX can do it via Flash Remoting only, due to FMX/Flash player 6's security model.
FMX2004 Pro can consume a Web Service via the WebService Connector.
There is information on the Macromedia site regarding FMX2004 Pro & Web Services, including a 3 part tutorial:
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/flash/data_integration02.html
Central can consume a Web Service.
There is a mailing list here in Australia dedicated to Flash, there are lots of people on that list who prolly could have answered this question for you, you might consider subscribing to that list:

http://www.fullasagoog.com is a place where you can see information on topics like this, all you need is about 5 minutes each day to scan the site to see what's going on in the Macromedia world.

Is it possible to for example have a Flash client talk to a CF Webservice (yes) and have the CF Webservice talk back to multiple Flash MX clients (?)
Example;
[Flash client 1] (send data) -> [Web Service]
[Web Service] (sends data) -> [Flash client 2] and [Flash client 3] and [Flash client 4] and [Flash client etc.]
If it's possible can anyone provide any links to tutorials, code samples etc.?
(I can think of some things that would be problematic i.e. proxies)
TIA
