I think verity can deal with this sort of stuff - I haven't tried it but
from what I have read verity will handle XML pretty well, even allowing you
to search specific xml elements.

The best resource I know of is O'Reilly's Programming ColdFusion MX by Rob
Brooks-Bilson. I can't type the whole chapter out but there is quite a bit
about verity in there that I have not seen anywhere else.
