Nah good point man, but essentially the WIKI isn't meant to be a literal code by code starting point for the framework. Its more to the point a good example of what Spike & team believed BatFink represented. Its by no means a coding standard in that you MUST follow it to the letter, as it meant to be loose and FLEXible (hehe) enough to handle any personal wants / needs without cornering you into becoming BatFink diciples.
Hope that helps? Personally, i've not yet fully used the new "VIEW" or "PRESENTER" mainly because i've been stuck in Flash Land, but i've used the MODEL over and over, and the more I use it the more I've loved it. That to me is the crux of BatFink in many ways :) but thats my Flash Monkey Opinion.
Keep the opinions coming though, as the more YOU all use it and have a go at it, the cooler it will hopefully get.
(YES I'm also aware at how slow MossyBlog.com is, i'm busy now converting it to a database instead of an XML only run site.... hey how the hell was i supposed to know it was popular....shit i'm still amazed you're reading this...heh whats with the travel industry and crashing websites ;)..

I only had a look at the application.cfm so far, and there is only one thing that I noticed at this stage, there is no password required to re-initialize the application variables. I reckon it will take a while to initialize the application, thus if someone wants to bring the app down all you need to do is send an XXXX requests with "appinit" in the url and up goes the CPU.

And of course its up to the people to change the password "appinit999" to something else with every new application.
On most applications, I know its still a guessing work as to what the variable name is to re-initialize the application, but with an open framework it is known and it will create a hazard, in my eyes anyway.

As most of you probably know, we here up Tourism Queensland eCommerce Dept, have been using a framework called "BatFink".
Spike, the beer-o-matic himself is the core brains behind this puppy, but none the less, most of us understand it, but yeah, download it, play with it, tell us it sux, tell us it rox, either way we'd love to see how your initial reaction to it is.

Its a self-documenting WIKI (well not as hardcore on the docs part, but its enough to get you started). Its based on the MVP pattern aswell.
