Thanks Paul.
My servers configuration:
Box1: CF&IIS6 - dual Xeon 2.4g, 2.0g ram, 120g raid 5 10krpm
Box2: SQL Server 2000 - dual Xeon 2.0g, 1.0g ram, 80g raid 5
Most of our Intranet queries are CF serving 900 users. Are these boxes good
enough?
George

Then there's the RAID card and 15Krpm drives to consider. A decent RAID 10 configuration's (1) going to have 5 or more SCSI drives in it, sitting in hot-swap cradles. Not a cheap setup, by any means. But if you're running Oracle the hardware cost's insignificant anyway ;) Cheers Paul Haddon Technical Services Manager Formstar Print Technologies (1) RAID 5 isn't a good idea for databases.
