That sounds like just what I need and although I'm a potential consumer with no expertise in CVS, when what you need are CVS gurus, I'd be happy to contribute to the project if you need someone to do 'legwork'.

We have a setup at work with several developers (stable
four with as many as 8-12), a CVS server and three separate repositories running on RH9 (although they used to be on a Windows machine running CVSNT) with a code base around 100K lines. We run:
* daily developer checkouts * daily master dev builds (automatically) * twice-weekly test builds (automatically) * as-needed prod builds for shipping to outsourced prod servers
None of it's hard, it just takes a while to get your head around.
