I don't think Leon is the culprit but thanks to him MM (through Sean
Corfield - hell hath no fury) now know about this very serious breach of an
NDA.

As a keen former beta tester I'd like MM to take this culprit to task for
getting my hopes up at least!

Surely if this information is from an Alpha release it is confidential?

The things stated are mostly things we have all heard or seen something
about.

An alpha may show some key items but I believe would not reflect the quality
of a beta or final release. I think Alpha means they are still working on
what features to include and what features might not be right for the
release of the new product.

So aside those things we all know about.. the other things might not be rock
solid and thus arnt public.

Hopefully the lack of considering the consequences has not effected the
ability for Macromedia to trust its following developers. I'm sure we all
want to find out whats in the next version of coldfusion, but really... even
if we know what features will be included.. it still wont be released untill
it is finished.

Lets hope these sort of events dont limit the amount of developers they are
willing to trust with beta releases.

Gareth.
