I know the bloke that runs the Bris CFUG thinks high enough of it to try
and get a study group together.

so far he's been "underwhelmed" by responses. Go figure.

Perhaps they believe in Scott Barnes rhetoric this morn ("Brisbane ...
are all uber CF coders") and really think they're hot stuff/ don't need
it?

Perhaps they've had all day at work and the last thing they need is more
bloody problem solving with code?

Me? I think it's a great idea. More practical than a CS degree. I just
haven't got around to it yet.

Subject: [cfaussie] CFMX Certification.

How many people in this list have attained Certification?
How valuable is a CFMX Certification? Do any prospective employers place
a
high emphasis on this accreditation?
I was thinking of obtaining this, but if it is merely just another item
to
add to a CV perhaps it would be better investing time into something
else?

Your thoughts would be appreciated,
Theo

The current version doesn't do progressive jpeg... but the new version,
which is due out at the end of June (to coincide with the expiry of the
European Unisys GIF patent) will.
