OK, first off Fusebox is NOT a methodology (a way of developing
software), it's a framework (code that gets you started). The same is
true of Mach II. And BatFink (although it's pretty fluid).

Benorama's MVCF is more of a methodology. FLiP is a methodology
(although it is very focused on implementing solutions with Fusebox).

Fusebox is the most widely used CF framework. It's used by the same
percentage of CFers as Struts is used by Java programmers. (somewhere
between 6% and 8%)

Mach II is certainly gaining in popularity: CFers who understand the
benefits of both frameworks and OO tend to go to Mach II, CFers who
understand the benefits of frameworks but feel more comfortable with
procedural design / code tend to go to Fusebox 3 or 4.

Both Fusebox and Mach II are available for CF and PHP (Mach II is
limited beta for PHP right now, Fusebox 3 for PHP has been available
for ages, Fusebox 4 is in beta for PHP I think). Fusebox 3 is
available for JSP, Mach II for JSP is being developed.

We use Mach II "to the letter". We have 1.0.9 checked in to CVS and
shared for all development projects. No developers ever modify the
core files. Partly because I'm the gatekeeper and I don't allow it :)
