Without giving a case study on blacklists (there is enough in the archives already)...
I've been bounced more than once trying to post from gmail to cfauusie, and other lists.
It's not my filter dude, it's spamcop, spamhaus, etc. G-mail is a huge producer of spam. It's smtp servers are on the blacklists all the time. That's why you send through your isp and it always works. I don't know how you can work around this really. If someone sends a pile of spam from the gmail servers they will get blocked, whether it is temporary or permanent. I wouldn't believe they have a sufficient record to get on a whitelist.
