10+ years would put you back to 1995ish era, a time i remember well, in which case (from memory, the HTML "commerical" scene wasn't around (if it was, it was mostly hobby designers who were shocked to be getting paid - that and HTML 1.0 wasnt). In fact, the mainstream web was basically still in a transition period from Windows 3.11 to Windows 95. Commercial web development wasn't really effective back then and to this day we still have that yellow background + pink font, with overkill of animations - enough to send one into a seizure upon viewing heheh. It probably wasn't until mid-95 to late 96 that we started to see commercially driven websites, hell IBM first went online in Oct 96... Just making a point... is all ;) > what is involved, I know how I want it done, I know how it is done, I know > what > I can provide to make things go smoother and make them cheaper. I flag that word "cheaper" always have, when someone jumps the swimming lanes between programming and design, and throws in the "well i know how to design sites" phrase, followed by the word "cheaper" - i tend to go "heh, so its the hard way for you then, alllrighty then". > And I got a budget to work with, if that can't be met than tuff luck and the > business will have to put up with a Taco Design... Not my call... uhuh!, the budget!.. now it make sense. I thought you were going to be one of those cheap bastards who winds the screws in because he can...budgets on the other hand, well that changes everything.. :) > But let's not make this a new long thread, I know what I want and thats it! > ;-) I'm bored, you've worked here..you now how mundane the days get when you sit on servers that continue to crash..............*grumbles*....*cfcode*...*grumbles*...
