Another one, though limited to 5 users, is at http://www.paessler.com/webstress/. Some may remember that I was previously promoting OpenLoad (http://www.opendemand.com/cf/), who also offer a 5 user load testing tool that's remotely hosted.
The thing I like about Paessler over OpenLoad is that it's a regular installed program. A hosted product has its place, but for some simple testing (or inside a firewall), an installed program is the better solution. I also recommend Paessler over the MS stress tool only because I like its interface better. Again, if 5 users is enough (and hammering a site frequently they can generate quite a load in a short time), then it may be worth a look. Note also that their commercial versions are at like $50 for 20 users, \$125 for 100 users, and only $325 for unlimited users. /charlie > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Behalf Of Brandon Purcell > Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2003 12:19 PM > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED] ' > Subject: RE: RE: [CFCDev] CFC Performance Problem (OLD-Resolved) > > > In some ways a single user test will not provide the data you are > looking for.
