Just to be anal, I'd rewrite the above to be more generic:
Allow for a filter that contains various constraints as well as sort
orders.
So, constraints may be
lastN
updatedAfter
updatedBefore
onDateX
inMonthYear X/Y
etc
Sort orders would be
title asc/desc
updated asc/desc
etc
