I have two questions.
The first is in regards to the use of <cfscript> vs CFML. I can see where it
is sometimes more convenient to use <cfscript> however I was wondering if there is a
performance increase in CFMX? Since the pages are compiled to Java classes does this
matter anymore?
My second question is in regards to performance and XML. When processing XML
documents is it better to use XSLT or the built in CFMX XML functions? Is there a
difference in performance? Sometimes it is just faster to use the CFMX functions, but
was not sure if there was a performance hit vs using XSLT.
