In my mind, not being able to do proper step debugging on CFMX will be the single most limiting factor in developing large scale applications effectively. Dumping and all related schemes are primitive and requires an unnecessary overhead.
As someone who has spent over twenty years building applications in a variety of languages, I've generally found interactive step debuggers to be pretty useless in large scale development. I've nearly always had to resort to logging / dumping data because the debugging overhead is just too high in an interactive system...
