*grin* Yes, I'd definitely say it's more about preference than anything else. If you have a complex app, breaking things up like that can make the files easier to manage (fewer files per folder).

I'm curious for those that have gone to the step of creating a data
integration layer whether you like to keep your Data Access Objects (as in
Sean's article example) in the same folder as the business objects they are
tied to or to put them into a seperate DAO folder.

We leave it up to individual developers really - most of our guys are pretty good at structuring apps (in terms of directories) so we haven't enforced any rules.
